Do you have tips, ideas, fun things to share with your fellow eAGM participants? Use the comment function below and share what you found gets you ready for a motivated, inspired session online. Is it a special yoga technique? Do you run? Nap? Play with your kids? Watch your favourite show? Is it a special snack? While it was new and exciting a year ago (despite the strange and new and often scary situation of a worldwide pandemic) and we were all so relieved to be able to see one another for the AGM last year, this year feels... different.

So let’s just give it a name: it’s the “Online-Meeting fatigue spectrum”....

    • Real vs fake background? What works better – but either way, make sure it carries your message and does not take away from you.

  • Seasonal Flowering Clock
    by GYA AGM Organisation
Brought to you by Nina Yasuda

The eternal cycles of nature, while changing, never lose their creativity.

Art is one way to harmonize and visualize the "sensibility to feel beauty" and "science reveals its truth.”
The plants of this art garden are designed to bloom in sequence over the course of a year.
They are intended to evoke our imagination about the cycles of nature and time, and to pass on the vegetation of the present to future generations....

    GYA General Assembly Sessions
These are the core of any GYA Annual General Meeting, of course, and provide ample opportunity to discuss core GYA issues, and for members to vote on them. • Become a moderator for the AGM
    by GYA AGM Organisation
Each GYA AGM is only as fantastic as you, the members and alumni, make it! Therefore, consider taking on responsibilities for this year’s AGM – by picking a session to help with, or coming up with small icebreaker-ideas that we could do together. Or join in as a session moderator to help get discussions going and guide them. There will be no need for lengthy presentations, so do not worry. Rather, the AGM is all about engaging with your fellow members and keeping the exchange going.
